History-W.W. Wallwork Inc. was founded in 1921 as Moorhead Motor Company in Moorhead, Minnesota. W.W. Wallwork Sr. started the company with Ford & Fordson Tractors Franchises. By 1937, Wallwork had purchased the Ford Store in Fargo also. With a history of operating successful Ford Dealerships through the 40's, they got into the class eight truck business in the 1950's with Ford heavy trucks. In the 60's, W. W. Wallwork Jr. helped Wallwork become the largest distributor of Freightliner in North Dakota through leasing. In 1969, Wallwork pursued, and was awarded the Kenworth franchise and immediately began adding trailer lines.

The dealership relocated to West Main Avenue in Fargo. In the early 1980's, Wallwork opened a store in Bismarck North Dakota. In 1997, Ford sold their class eight truck division to Freightliner who re-named it Sterling Truck Company, Wallwork became an authorized dealer. In 1998, Wallwork Truck Center built the all-new facility on I-29 in Fargo. The new Fargo Store has 53,000 square feet of truck and trailer parts, service, financing, and sales areas.
